Increasing confidence and self esteem
Confidence and self esteem are absolutely related to our beliefs and behaviours. Negative beliefs about ourselves can lead to us dwelling on our perceived failings. We may avoid situations and opportunities in which we fear failure or exposure. This in turn leads us to think even more negatively about ourselves.
There are many reasons why we may lack confidence. Perhaps messages about ourself that we picked up while we were growing up. Perhaps by unconsciously picking up the attitudes and beliefs of our parents. Perhaps we compared ourselves negatively to others or were compared negatively.
But actually .............. not everyone in the same circumstances would react the same way. So our thinking style is going to be part of what is going on. And you can address this. Mulling over why we have a lack of confidence will only act to make us feel worse about ourselves.
Successful people don't always succeed. They are good at getting back on track when things don't work out and are prepared and ready to learn from mistakes. They can think and act positively.
How hypnotherapy can help
Hypnotherapy can help to reprogramme your unconscious mind to act positively, think positively and interact positively with others. There is clear evidence that this actually changes the way that your brain works, re-organising and changing the balance of chemicals in the brain (neurotransmitters). This works to create an upward spiral of positive events and outcomes.
How many treatments?
