I am an integrative counsellor and supervisor. I am fluent in a variety of approaches (including solution-focused hypnotherapy, person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and systems theory based counselling) and skilled at applying these to help you to achieve your goals.

 I have worked in the field of mental health for 40 years and am a fully qualified counsellor, supervisor and hypnotherapist. I am experienced in both short and long term therapy. Building a trusting relationship with clients is central to my work.  Previously, I worked for 34 years as a mental health nurse in the NHS - offering treatment to clients as well as training and supervision to professionals. I have been in private practice for eight years. I  continue to offer supervision and training to private therapists and voluntary organisations.

I welcome clients from all ethnic backgrounds, clients with disabilities and of all sexual orientations and identities.

I offer value for money (a free initial consultation and £50 for each  subsequent treatment session)
